Get on board and enjoy the water.
With a volume of water equivalent to 24,000 Olympic swimming pools, it’s the perfect place to learn to sail, cruise or race. At 1200 feet above sea level we enjoy steady winds that are stronger than at sea level so it can get a bit blowy!
If you fancy a trip out on the lake, why not book one of our recreational motor boats? Sailing is also available, operated by the Llyn Brenig Sailing Club, just along the road from the main visitor centre. We now hire out kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards as well.
Don’t forget! Water sports are weather dependent so please call ahead or check social media before you visit to avoid disappointment.
Hire one of our recreational boats for an unforgettable hour on the water at Llyn Brenig. Perfect for families!
From your paddle boards, kayaks or canoes, explore the reservoir and see its spectacular scenery and wildlife from a different perspective.
Hire a kayak or canoe and explore the lake peacefully. Without the hum of a boat engine you will hear the sounds of nature as you paddle.
SUP is one of the fastest growing paddle sports. It’s an offshoot of surfing where you stand up on the board and use a large paddle to propel yourself instead of laying on the board and paddling.
