School visits at Llyn Brenig

Water truly is amazing, but how much do you know about it? Do you know where it comes from? Or how it gets to your tap? What about how we make water safe to drink? Or the best ways to conserve it?

At Llyn Brenig in north Wales, we work with schools to encourage children to love and value water. Our school visits, led by seconded primary school teachers, equip pupils to become global citizens, with an understanding of sustainability and its impact on the local community.

Our teaching resources are continually being expanded across all key stages of the national curriculum.

During lockdown for covid-19, we are taking school visits out of the classroom and putting them directly into pupils homes through electronic provision. We aim to return to face-to-face school visits from September 2021.
