The uphill slope is definitely worth the climb on this short circular route…watch out for the uneven terrain!

Don’t worry – If you’re new to cycling or you don’t have your own bike, we have adult and children bikes for hire, as well as bike trailers.

Enjoy a rewarding cycle on this short trail around the Brenig Dam, taking approx. half an hour to complete.

Head straight for the dam from the Visitor Centre, point those wheels left and enjoy the view of the lake as you cross.

Take a right and follow the track to the gate at the bottom – track is mainly gravel, make sure those brakes are working well!

Right again, following the road with care.

Bit of a slog up the hill, but at the top get out the saddle and take in the amazing view. Right through the gate, nice spin downhill to catch your breath!

Left at the edge of the dam, and back to where it all began.
